How can you know if what we are showing you is any good? I put together a list of some critical elements of an excellent social media post, so you know what to look for in our portfolio.
Goal. What is the reason for your post? Your plan will be to engage your audience in a conversation about your services or products most of the time. There are other goals, however. You may urge your audience to register for an event or sign up for your email list. Whatever your goal, make sure you include a clear call to action to perform the desired deed.
Visual. You can choose a video or still graphics. Still, time and time again, it has been proven that posts with a visual perform better than text-only. You do not have to be a professional graphic designer to create scroll-stopping visuals. It should, of course, work towards completing your goal. The easiest way to do this is to use pre-existing templates in Canva.com. If you are not familiar with this free tool, you should try it out! Keywords. Although it makes perfect sense to purposefully include keywords in all posts, it is so quickly (and often) forgotten! Search engines and search functions within social sites index keywords. Include your geographic locations, your products/services, and taglines repeatedly in your regular posts.
Hashtags. Hashtags function as search terms on most major social platforms. Using hashtags will help you be found by associating yourself with those terms. Add specific hashtags to your social media posts based on how you want to be found.
Content Variation. One of the first things learned by any person performing social media management or marketing for a business or organization is to vary the content. You must appeal to multiple audience segments and will use different types of content to engage them. We accomplish this by scheduling software and organizing content into categories. These posts were designed to be shared and have the client's name, page link, and brand travel with every share. You will also see that it includes several keywords as hashtags as well as the client's website.

These two posts were created in the summer of 2020 as the company launched its website redesign. The previous website had been designed for education. In contrast, the new website is built on an e-commerce platform to promote web sales. This triggered the need to re-align the social media goals to encourage e-commerce.
These graphics were created to boost product sales by listing product benefits and links directly to the product landing page. Each post also includes the client name, page link, and brand. Notice how they have several keywords as hashtags and eye-catching emojis as bullet points.
Ronpak is a medium-sized manufacturing plant that services super-huge clients and is headquartered near my hometown – Shreveport, La. They have a decent Facebook page but I am most especially proud of their LinkedIn Company page. We have casually posted to the page for almost 3 years but focused on Facebook growth. All of the sudden, this year, LinkedIn started showing off with great analytics and abilities to reach specific job titles in specific industries. Here are two recent posts showing off staff promotions and a new delivery bag debuting. Each post includes a scroll-stopping custom visual including the client’s name and brand. Notice the keywords as hashtags.
Corner Collection On Line is an outdoor furniture store that specializes in patio furniture, outdoor fire pits, waterfalls, and more to decorate your outdoor living space. The company agreed to creating an Instagram account in Spring of 2020. This account is used to showcase furniture installations and inspire others to update their porches!

Changing positions during an 8 hour workday keeps you healthier!
Once you have the standing desk, you need the mat to accompany the desk. This is one of the more expensive mats but I love the bumps and nodules that keep my feet moving.
What ergonomic desk setup would be complete without the ergonomic foot stool. They are all pretty much priced the same. I have found that they key to an ergonomic sedentary workspace is the ability to change positions regularly.
I love my yoga ball chair! It forces me to use my core while sitting at my desk.
The only downside I have found is the susceptibility to kitty cat claws.
